Despite the lovely property, some guests found their room standard for the price they paid. Cleanliness has been an issue, and the receptionist was helpful in addressing this. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary, while the spa was lovely and access from the room was great. The dining room menu wasn't to everyone's taste, while the lounge menu was bigger, but the tables and chairs were too low to eat at. Drinks were expensive despite the barman being great, and the room was quite dark and dated. For the price paid, some guests felt it could be better.
