The garden is well taken care of, with plenty of outdoor furniture and a patio heater, and there’s a private access to the lake for a morning stroll or afternoon walk. With high-quality bedding and towels, a Nespresso machine, and all the amenities you need, Airanloch is the perfect place for a romantic break.

    Dalriada is the perfect place to stay while exploring the incredible Isle of Skye. Set in Portree, it’s just a short 5-minute drive from the town. Our room was spacious, bright and cosy, with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Hosts Sally and Robin were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing useful tips and recommendations for places to visit and eat. They even offered us some delicious home-made strawberry jam! Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of continental options, and hygiene standards were kept appropriately high in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. We felt very safe and welcome during our stay and can’t recommend Dalriada enough!

Our host Fiona was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and at ease. Our room was immaculate and cozy, complete with a fridge, TV and coffee/tea facilities. The powerful shower was a welcome luxury after a long day of sightseeing, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied - a great selection of cereals, fruit, juice, cheese, ham, pancakes, muffins and toast. Plus, there were even packed lunches provided on our day trips! The location is great and there was plenty of parking, plus some friendly 'hairy coos' down the road. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Skye!
