The waitresses are friendly and attentive and will make your toast and provide various jams, honey, sauces, and butters. The 4-star Nottingham Belfry hotel is conveniently located, just 15 minutes’ drive from the city centre and 2 minutes from the M1. Guests can enjoy free WiFi access and free on-site parking. Upon arrival, guests can expect a warm welcome and excellent service. The hotel also offers a luxurious deluxe king-size bed, electric heater/air conditioning, and room service. Breakfast is served with a variety of products and the swimming pool is open until 6pm. The hotel also caters for special occasions with balloons and chocolate stars for children's birthdays. Although there was some noise from wedding celebrations, it was not too much to disturb guests. Nottingham Belfry is ideal for a weekend stay and is highly recommended for excellent service and facilities.

Ye Olde Bell Hotel is a 17th-century coaching inn set in the Nottinghamshire village of Barnby Moor. It offers free Wi-Fi, the St Ledger Bistro and the 1650 Restaurant, as well as a superb spa with friendly, professional staff. The rooms are small but comfortable, with roll top baths and no air conditioning, although you can open the windows. The restaurant manageress can be over officious. The evening meal and staff were excellent, and the hotel was very understanding when a customer had to cancel due to Covid. Breakfast could be improved, but overall it is a beautiful hotel with great value for money, friendly staff and a truly relaxing atmosphere.

This Nottinghamshire hotel offers an oasis of tranquillity and natural beauty, conveniently located near M1 and A1, ideal for exploring the county. Our 2 night break was pleasant, the reception staff was polite, courteous and professional. The room was clean and the beds freshly made, but the surfaces were covered in crumbs and the bathroom was missing towels and toiletries. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The spa was a disappointment and the room could use some improvement, but we were offered a 30% refund for our stay. All in all, it was a pleasant stay in a lovely location.
