The parking lot is full of cigarette butts and weeds, and the pool is closed. There are basic amenities in the rooms, but no way to change the input on the TV. The first floor doesn’t have shades that close fully, and the remote was sticky. However, the staff is willing to upgrade rooms if necessary, which is nice. Overall, it’s not the best hotel, but it’s worth considering if you are looking for a place to stay in Scranton.

Mount Airy Casino Resort - Adults Only is located in Mount Pocono and offers 4-star accommodation with a bar, casino, and restaurant. Our room was clean and roomy, with updated bedding and a spacious bathroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The spa was wonderful and the pool was clean and relaxing. The casino had plenty of gambling games without waiting and the restaurants were of a mixed quality. Bistecca was very nice and the Guy Fieri restaurant was good, although there was a long wait for breakfast on the second day. The only downside was the cigarette smoke, which was pervasive throughout the resort. There was no microwave or fridge in the room, making it expensive to eat at the resort and hard to keep food cold. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, although not perfect.
