Surrounded by 9 acres of parkland, the hotel is conveniently placed for access to Guildford, Woking and the M25. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available on-site. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the room was not ready and the customer service unsatisfactory. The room had a musky odour and the bathroom was not usable. The restaurant was ok, but the breakfast was questionable and the staff unfriendly. The spa package was a shambles and it took days to get a refund for a massage not received. My room was freezing and there was no soundproofing. The car park was not lit and the stairs leading to the car park were slippery. The room was clean but with cobwebs and patches of paint. The outside jacuzzi was out of order. This hotel could be a great place to stay, but it needs some work.

Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa is a picturesque country house hotel nestled in the Surrey Hills. The property boasts a restaurant, a spa with swimming pool, and is a great base for hiking the nearby trails. We stayed here last year and it was great, but this year the service was lacking and the stay was less than relaxing. The room was spacious and clean, and the spa facilities were clean too. We booked treatments and these were great. The spa was a bit run down in places, and the pool was quite cold, but it's a great facility for the price. The food was really good, both breakfast and dinner in terms of choices and quality. However, a few weeks after booking we were told the spa would be out of order for a full day of our stay, and no compensation was offered. The restaurant was being refurbished, so food was being run across the car park from another building. The staff were inattentive and we waited an hour for a sandwich with no apology. We had booked for the New Year’s Eve Gatsby evening and hotel stay, but the spa and leisure facilities were not available. The room was renovated and comfortable, and the evening event was enjoyable. However, it was not quite what we expected.
