Manor Of Groves Hotel Golf And Country Club is a beautifully restored Georgian manor house set in 150 acres of countryside. It offers a wellness centre, a golf course and free parking, as well as free WiFi throughout. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. The rooms were dirty, outdated and broken amenities, and the Wi-Fi, phone and mobile-data signals were extremely poor and spotty. The venue staff were unhelpful and the room was stifling hot. On top of that, there were bugs in one of the beds and the bedroom alarm went off all night. We wouldn't recommend staying here as there are much better options available.

Despite its grandeur, guests have been disappointed by the lack of amenities, such as robes, slippers and room service, as well as the poor breakfast selection. The staff were friendly and helpful, however the priority given to a wedding booking has sadly taken away from the overall experience. Not the best value for money, but still worth a visit for the stunning grounds and building.
