The Swallows Rest Bed & Breakfast is situated in the picturesque village of Brigstock and overlooks country fields and the Brigstock Vineyard. Our host, Sam, welcomed us warmly and left us two homemade cookies in our room as a welcome. Our room was immaculate, with a large and comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The shower was large and had a constant, therapeutic flow. Breakfast was ordered the night before and was delivered precisely when requested. Sam was friendly and attentive without hovering, and offered to make dinner reservations for us. We had a lovely, peaceful stay and loved the attention to detail and facilities provided, making for a faultless stay. The garden was a lovely touch, and the honesty fridge was well stocked with endless options. The bed was huge and the shower was amazing. All in all, it was great value for money and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.”
