It's a great base to explore the nearby Silverstone, Bicester and Stowe. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with free toiletries and shower. The bed is the most comfortable one ever and the view of the lake is calming. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast or choose from a selection of cereals, yoghurt, and fruit. During lambing season, you'll even get to meet some of the lambs. It is an excellent value for money and we highly recommend it!

6 miles from Hinton in the Hedges The Watermill is a beautiful, tranquil property set in Sulgrave, surrounded by well-manicured gardens and a tennis court. All units come with a patio with garden views, a kitchenette with all the amenities and a private bathroom with a shower. Our hosts were beyond accommodating, providing us with all the comforts of home and more, including tea, coffee, bread, croissants, eggs, homemade jams and marmalades. They were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The location is ideal, just a short walk away from an idyllic village with a nice pub. We were provided rackets and balls to use on the tennis court and were served a delicious, yummy healthy breakfast. We would highly recommend The Watermill for a weekend getaway!
