Dower House B&B in Newtonmore is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely couple Lynda and Eric, who provided us with a truly unique experience. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and equipped with an electric blanket, perfect for the Highlands night. We were treated to a delightful afternoon tea with homemade cakes in the living room, and a delicious breakfast made with fresh produce, including homemade bread and jam. Lynda went out of her way to ensure we made the most of our stay, alerting us to the annual Highland Games in the village. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner prepared by Lynda and Eric, offering a full menu including their famous 'proper pie'. We were also glad to know that they take extra precautions to ensure their guests' safety during Covid. Highly recommended!

Our hosts, John and Irene, are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The 3 en-suite guest bedrooms are spacious, tidy and well-equipped, with flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee trays and excellent ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options, including Irene's 'breakfast cranachan'. John and Irene are great with pets, and the location is perfect for walks, hikes and other outdoor activities. We highly recommend Clune House for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The property is stunning both indoors and outdoors, with thoughtful touches like a mini-fridge in the room and a shower mat in the shower. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to friends and family!
