This La Quinta hotel in Kerrville, Texas, is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Schreiner University and provides guests with a free hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, and a hot tub. While the breakfast was great, and the staff friendly and helpful, the room was not very clean - there was a sewer smell, an odd stuck-on wall material, and hair on the bathroom wall. The pillows were old and hard, and the fridge had no freezer. The TV changer didn't work, and there was only decaf coffee for the coffee maker. Unfortunately, my experience was worsened by being given a room that already had people sleeping in it, and the person at the front desk taking a long time to return. Overall, this hotel wasn't worth the price and I won't be staying at another La Quinta in Texas.
