    Evangeline Downs Hotel is connected to Louisiana's prestigious Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino, home of thoroughbred and quarter horse racing, gaming, live entertainment, and numerous restaurants. Enjoy the horse races from your window, then go downstairs to bet and win! They have a nice smoking patio outdoors, a casino with plenty of gaming and dining options, and helpful housekeeping staff. Understandably, there is limited breakfast offered during the Covid pandemic. The hotel is conveniently located, near shopping and restaurants. We found the soundproof walls and easy reservation process great features. However, phone lines were down, so we had to book online, making it more expensive. Though some aspects of the rooms could have been better, overall we have enjoyed our stay. Keep in mind when booking that Evangeline Downs is a great place to stay for a budget-friendly getaway!”
