The rooms are clean and comfortable, with couches and wood floors. Breakfast was good, and there is a nice sitting area with a beautiful view in the back of the hotel. The casino access is easy and you're close to many sights. The overall experience was great; the location, staff, and view of the river were all excellent. This is definitely a place to stay if you're looking for a great time near the Mississippi River!

    The Baer House Inn is a Victorian-era mansion circa 1870 located in the historical city of Vicksburg. Hosts Patricia and Cory provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a full breakfast and social hour with wine and snacks. The Plantation Room is clean and comfortable with a cozy bed. We got to explore the city and enjoy the National Military Park with the help of helpful tips from Patricia. The McRaven House evening tour was also an unforgettable experience. With books about the local history, freshly cooked breakfasts, and lots of good maps and leaflets, it's the perfect place for a stay in Vicksburg. Don't forget the 22 stairs to the second floor!
