Breakfast and dinner choices are wide-ranging and delicious. The White Company toiletries in the bathrooms are a nice touch, and the spa area, albeit with poor lighting, features a masseuse highly recommended by guests. The bar prices are steep, but the staff are friendly and helpful. A great choice for a weekend away or special occasion.

The Welcombe Golf & Spa Hotel; Best Western Premier Collection is nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Stratford upon Avon, just 5 minutes from the M40. With an 18-hole, par 70 golf course, spa facilities and the Best Western Premier Collection, it's the perfect destination for a luxurious getaway. Unfortunately, the hotel needs some love and money spending on it, and some of the spa staff were rude. Additionally, the evening meal menu and lack of light snack menu were disappointing. The room was dated and the locker rooms in the spa were battered. Although the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel experience is unfortunately letting the Welcombe down.

The rooms are warm and clean, the bathrooms are newly refurbished, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The bar area is cozy and inviting, with a fireplace, and the garden overlooks the parkland. The spa treatments are great and the pool area is clean. Although an issue with billing arose at check out, it was quickly resolved and we enjoyed our stay overall. Billesley Manor is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

The hotel's staff, in particular Joanne and Johnny, are very thoughtful and helpful, and the hotel itself is very clean. Although services were limited due to COVID, the swimming pool was open and the restaurant had a limited menu. The self contained apartments on the hotel grounds were very comfortable and the grounds were peaceful and beautiful. The location was convenient for sight-seeing nearby towns. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay.
