Stay at this historic hotel surrounded by beautiful grounds just 3.5 miles from central Norwich. With a golf course and spa pool, it's an ideal spot to relax. However, please note that our experience was not perfect as the room was dirty, with scuffed walls and a wobbly headboard. The bathroom was also in need of repair with holes in the walls and no extractor fan. The spa area was unclean and the restaurant was closed early without warning. To sum up, this hotel may not be ideal if you’re looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Pay a little more and go elsewhere for a better experience.

Holiday Inn Norwich, Ipswich Road is a great hotel with plenty of amenities to enjoy. It has a public parking area free of charge, an indoor swimming pool, a wellness and fitness centre, a garden with a terrace, and an on-site bar and restaurant. It's perfectly located, providing easy access to Norwich centre with the bus service and is well-equipped for both leisure and business travellers. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the extras such as the swimming pool, gym and sauna are all great value. Unfortunately, the room was not up to standard, with a small bathroom, uncomfortable bed and bed settee and draughty windows. Breakfast was also overpriced for what was offered. However, the manager was very apologetic and professional when dealing with our issues, and the one staff member at breakfast was incredibly helpful and hardworking despite being let down by the other members of staff. All in all, Holiday Inn Norwich, Ipswich Road is a good choice for a short stay.
