Edinburgh Holyrood Hotel, located just metres from Holyrood Park and a mile away from Edinburgh Castle, offers a luxurious stay with free WiFi access and large, spacious rooms. Guests can enjoy an on-site award-winning restaurant and spa, and can book treatments while they're there. Unfortunately, upon arrival we experienced a long check-in queue, despite our room being available sooner. The room was very dirty and the toilet and shower were not in working order. We made use of the pool and sauna, but these were not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel and the changing facilities were unclean. To top it off, there were various issues with booking for dinner, the room service QR code was not working, and the breakfast order was lost. All in all, a disappointing stay and not worth the price tag.
