    The New Lanark Mill Hotel is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering spacious en suite rooms, a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa and more. Check-in was okay, though requests weren't available. The room was nice with a great view of the water. Dinner was made awkward by the staff who came to the table to start conversations. The bar had all shutters up but one, so it was a bit strange. Breakfast was unpleasant, with staff getting the order wrong 3 times and making us feel like it was our fault. Check-out was rushed and charges were made to our room that we hadn't ordered. However, the building and grounds were lovely and the restaurant was great. The bar has a good selection of gin and whiskey, and they offered to make us a cocktail if they had the ingredients. The spa was dreamy and the tour of the site was very handy. The best part was the staff, who were all friendly and down to earth. New Lanark Mill Hotel is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
