With Covid-19 precautions firmly in place, we felt very safe during our stay. The staff were helpful and welcoming, always accommodating our requests. The rooms were spacious, and the food delicious! There is a 24/7 room service for added convenience. The hotel is conveniently located to explore nearby beaches and parks, and the property itself has lovely green areas - a great spot to relax. The spa is ideal for a special treat, and the staff go the extra mile to make sure guests feel pampered. The hotel is also dog friendly, with appropriate areas for your four-legged friends. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a family holiday, Penventon Park Hotel is a great choice.

Merchants Manor is a hotel located on Falmouth Bay with a modern leisure club, heated indoor swimming pool, Linen Rooms Spa, and award-winning restaurant, Rastella. All rooms feature satellite TV and free WiFi and offer views across the bay. Unfortunately, the hotel has been subject to a cheap refurbishment, which has left a lot to be desired in terms of attention to detail. Staff are continually getting things wrong and the service is slow. Guests have also experienced difficulty in tracking down staff as there is no reception desk. On departure, guests have been charged for items that weren't theirs and the electric car charger does not work. All in all, this hotel does not provide the quality expected for its price and we would recommend that anyone used to high quality hotels avoids it.

Located just a 15-minute walk from Falmouth town and Harbour and opposite Gyllyngvase Beach, the 4-star hotel boasts an award-winning restaurant, luxury spa and a Health Club with a 20-yard swimming pool. From the fantastic check in staff to the delicious breakfast, all our needs and expectations were exceeded. The rooms were clean and bright, with great amenities, while the staff were friendly and professional. We were even offered a free upgrade to a king-size for the second part of our stay. We were so sorry we didn't have time to visit the spa - we'll definitely be back soon.

The leisure facilities include an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, dry sauna and spa, with a poolside open fireplace. The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious shower head. Budock Vean is a dog-friendly hotel, with the terrace and conservatory available for meals. It is only half a mile away from Helford village and Trebah Gardens. Highly recommend this hotel and its beautiful grounds.
