It features a health club and 3 floodlit tennis courts, as well as bright and comfortable rooms, making it a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With plenty of free parking, and a good quality restaurant, the hotel is well equipped to handle events like the wedding we attended, with staff on hand to ensure that the local lockdown restrictions were properly observed. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!

A great location for exploring Chester and the surrounding area, but modernisation is needed.

The grounds boast an award-winning restaurant, a luxury spa and boutique bedrooms. During a recent stay, we experienced the helpfulness of reception, as they provided us with a ground floor room with direct access to a terrace, and showed great LGBTQ inclusiveness. The spa was small but relaxing, and the pool was refreshingly cool on a hot day. We also enjoyed the bar, which served delicious desserts and drinks. In a nutshell, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a tranquil and inclusive stay, but be sure to book a ground floor room!

The Mill Hotel and Spa is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Located just 5 minutes from Chester Station and alongside the Shropshire Union Canal, this hotel offers 5 eateries and a leisure centre with an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room, and a jacuzzi. Our room was comfortable, clean, and tidy with a great view of the canal and restaurant. The restaurant offers tasty dishes, although my husband was slightly disappointed with his pork wrapped in bacon as it wasn't as well done as he likes it. The shower was great with a rainfall shower overhead and a powerful and hot removable hand held shower. We spent a day at the Zoo, and the next day sightseeing and shopping. The bar area was nice to relax and enjoy the football and golf masters. All in all, a great place to stay!

The rooms are comfortable and the spa is nice, however there are some areas that could do with some attention. Service is polite but slow and there are a few issues with cleanliness. Food is pleasant but some of the breakfast options were underwhelming. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. Unfortunately, one customer experienced an awful stay due to noise and lack of sleep, and has yet to hear back from the manager.
