It is well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, TV, and plenty of parking spaces. The owner was great with communication and very helpful with directions and check in/out times. The flat is spacious and comfortable, with an old worn bedding and towels. The bath needs a deep clean/refurb. It's perfect for a stopover or a multi-day trip, and the host is generous and friendly. The area is quiet and peaceful and the price is great! A great stay awaits you!

22 miles from Hawick Peebles Hydro is a charming, historic hotel nestled in the beautiful gardens of the border town of Peebles. With an indoor pool, spa, gym and restaurant, it's an ideal spot for a family getaway. Unfortunately, the reception staff could be more friendly while the restaurant staff seemed inexperienced. The entire hotel needs a revamp, though the bedrooms have been refurbished. Activities offered are great and the gin distillery manager and instructors were lovely. The food on offer is average and the decor is a bit dated, but it's a great spot for a family holiday. Despite a few drawbacks, it's still a great destination for a relaxed holiday.
