Walker Ground Manor is a traditional 16th century country house situated in the historic village of Hawkshead. Guests can benefit from free WiFi, free parking, and easy access to the South Lakes area. Our hosts were welcoming, our room was cosy and comfortable with festive treats and a huge bed. Breakfast was homemade, locally sourced and delicious with plenty of choice. We got great advice on things to do and places to visit. Our room had a roll top bath and double walk-in shower with a stunning view. We had access to a communal lounge with a log fire, luxury toiletries and a garden. Sue spoiled us with chocolates, biscuits and tips about the local area. Highly recommended for a lovely stay in the Lakes!
