Heatherlie House Hotel is a beautiful Victorian mansion with 2 acres of wooded grounds, situated in the picturesque Scottish Borders region. Our stay was nothing short of excellent; hosts Michael and his family were incredibly hospitable and have implemented Covid-19 safety measures that go above and beyond. Our room was comfortable and dog friendly, with thoughtful touches like complimentary water and snacks for our walk. Breakfast was a generous continental spread, served with hot plate and local products. Dinner in the bar was delicious, and the staff were polite and attentive. Beyond the hotel, Selkirk is a charming town and we highly recommend taking a walk to Haining Park and Loch. Overall, an exceptional stay that we look forward to returning to.
