Carlton Court is a unique and luxurious Victorian villa located on a tree-lined avenue, a short walk away from the beach, harbour, and town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and private parking, as well as excellent hospitality and accommodation. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts De and Terry and shown to our room which included fresh homemade truffles and biscuits. Our breakfast orders were taken and made fresh to order, with a delicious orange juice, and the room was serviced daily. Throughout our stay, De and Terry provided helpful activities and information about the local area, as well as taking extra measures for Covid-19. We were also treated to afternoon tea and scones in the beautiful garden, with Terry's homemade scones and jam. We had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a special coastal getaway.

Devon Court is a family run B&B in the heart of Torquay. Guests can enjoy the picturesque garden, seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool and sun terrace, as well as free Wi-Fi and parking. Located close to the beach and marina, the hotel offers plenty of entertainment, from various restaurants and pubs to the Princess Theatre which hosts well-known performers every night. The hotel is small but smart, and the owner Kyla is very helpful and knowledgeable with good recommendations for things to do in the area. The breakfast is full and filling, with plenty of vegetarian/cold alternatives, and the bedrooms are nicely decorated with big windows and plenty of hot water in the shower. The bar is open for drinks, and there are books and board games available. Devon Court is a great place to stay, with excellent hospitality and a great atmosphere.

The Crowndale is the perfect place to stay for those looking for an idyllic holiday in Torquay. Located on a quiet, tree-lined road, it's a short stroll away from the seafront and harbour. Pat and John, the owners, are a lovely couple and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, with ensuite facilities and a mini fridge, while the beds are incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of cereals, fruits and cooked items. Covid preparations are exemplary, with hand sanitising stations, meals served in accordance with government guidance and rooms sanitised after each occupancy. Parking is not an issue either, with a small 4-car space at the rear and ample street spaces close by. John and Pat are excellent hosts and even surprised us with a celebratory bottle of wine for our anniversary - a gift warmly received. We've already booked for next year!

The Morley Guest House is a Victorian Villa built in 1871, recently renovated and redeveloped to a one bedroom self-catering holiday let. With a superking size bed, an ensuite shower room, and all the comforts of home, it's the perfect place to stay in Torquay and the English Riviera. The owners, Dawn and Lee, are wonderful hosts, texting ahead of our stay to welcome us and make sure everything was ready for us on arrival. The room was exceptionally clean with all the little extras like fresh water, milk and quality biscuits. The bar at The Morley was a great place to enjoy drinks, and the breakfast was amazing with vegetarian options. There was even a delicious cake waiting for us on our second day! The attention to detail in the decor, with vintage sewing machines and little elephants, was so impressive. And of course, George the dog was the cherry on top of a truly wonderful stay. Dawn and Lee go out of their way to make sure you have a great time, and I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.
