Located 4 km from Derwentwater and a short bus ride into Keswick, it offers easy access to Penrith and other surrounding areas. Phil and Helen, the owners, are lovely, welcoming people, making you feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable and had a powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious and a homemade shortbread was a nice touch. Phil is knowledgeable about the Lake District and will provide great recommendations. There is onsite parking and several places to eat within walking distance. Covid-19 precautions are in place and the house is kept immaculately clean. Guests can also take part in a photoworkshop with Phil to capture the stunning scenery of the Lake District. If you're looking for a great place to stay in the Lake District, Hermiston Guest House is the perfect choice.

Our twin room was spotless, tastefully decorated with a bespoke kitchenette including fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathroom has a large bath with a rain shower and complimentary toiletries. The beds are so comfortable and the wifi is great. Breakfast can be tailored to dietary needs, with a delicious range of continental and cooked options. Jude is friendly and helpful and has thought of everything, even providing bathrobes and a very useful map of the Lake District. We had such a fantastic stay and we highly recommend the Perky Pike - in fact, we stayed an extra night! The Perky Pike is an amazing B&B located in Keswick, offering guests keyless entry, bespoke kitchenette, ensuite bathroom with rain shower, comfy beds, and great wifi. Jude, the friendly owner, has thought of everything from bathrobes to a very useful map of the Lake District. The breakfast is tailored to dietary needs, with a delicious range of continental and cooked options. Guests will also appreciate being able to make their own evening meals and snacks. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend the Perky Pike - in fact, we stayed an extra night!

Our room, Latrigg, was stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all the mod cons you could need. Emma (the landlady) was incredibly hospitable and friendly, calling us before our arrival and sending us all the details we needed to know. Sean (the landlord) was an excellent host at breakfast, making sure everyone felt welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with plenty of choice. The location was perfect - just a 5 minute walk from Keswick town centre and close enough to Catbells to walk there. We had a wonderful stay in celebration of our 5th wedding anniversary and hope to return next year - highly recommended!

Elm Tree Lodge is a family-run B&B situated in the scenic market town of Keswick, within the Lake District National Park. With limited off-road parking, it's just a 5-minute walk to the town centre. Our host Tim was very welcoming, accommodating and attentive, and the room was well-maintained, with tea/coffee and snacks available. Breakfast was an enjoyable and sociable start to each day, with options to suit all tastes. The location of the B&B is perfect - a few minutes from the centre and lake, yet very quiet in the evening. With COVID guidelines followed, we had spotless rooms and fresh towels each day. We also appreciated the host's recommendations for great views and his prepared freshly made breakfast. The only downside was the lack of handrails. We will definitely book here again for our next trip to Keswick. Thank you!
