They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the conversations we had over breakfast made the stay truly special. Hosts Claire and Donald are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and their guest accommodation is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and well appointed with excellent toiletries and a fridge. Breakfast is a treat with Claire’s delicious homemade granola, Greek yoghurt and berries, followed by Donald’s first rate cooked breakfast. Cosy Room in Galashiels is the perfect place to stay! Located in the heart of Galashiels, the homestay is cozy, clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The host was welcoming, providing us with tea and biscuits and information about the city. He was always available to make sure that we had everything we needed. Plus, he gave us snacks for our next destination! We also had access to the kitchen and lounge area, making us feel right at home. The parking is conveniently located right at the front door, and it's easy to walk to the centre of Galashiels. Dalvy, the host, was exceptionally friendly and provided us with a continental breakfast. He also went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended for a short break or cycle stop!
