Our room was nicely refurbished and had a comfortable bed, while the disabled person's shower was a nice touch of diversity and inclusiveness. The hotel is close to a variety of shopping options and the Event Center, making it a great place to stay for both business and pleasure. We were unfortunately inconvenienced by a long check-in line and a two-hour wait due to housekeeping staff shortages, but we were offered a free dinner at the buffet. Travelodge by Wyndham Winnipeg is a great choice for a stay. It features an indoor water park, a restaurant and bar with a DJ, karaoke and billiards, and plenty of amenities. When I arrived late at night, the desk employee was busy helping another customer, and I had to wait for a while to check in. The hotel is located in a not-so-great area, with cinderblock walls and some people loitering outside. My room wasn't cleaned and the water tap wouldn't shut off. The staff, however, were very helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to stay in the room before payment, and even helped me contact the airport when I realized I had lost my wallet. As a result of the bad experience, we decided not to stay here, but I'm sure other guests will find the hotel a great place to stay.
